I asked Far North 3D Printing Services if they could make a duplicate part. Within two days they had made a pair of dimensionally perfect replacements using the other, undamaged, winding arm as a model. The new parts fit perfectly, and my Workmate is back in business for another 50 years, as good as new .
This kind of bespoke manufacturing by FNTDPS is just fantastic and the quality is excellent. Without their help there is no way I could have fixed this bench, and I highly recommend them.

I had quite a specific request - the driving gear inside a shredder had broken, I tried looking for a replacement and it seemed to not be readily available. Modelling and creating a new single piece seemed to be a difficult and a very expensive order. And then Ken from Far North 3D Printing said he'd be able to help me. I sent him the gear, which had a metal part inside and a ton of tiny curves and measurements and he was able to replace it! It's now inside the resurrected shredder which is happily shredding paper again. The part fits perfectly
